Where You Come In

We've talked and typed a lot about our commitment to the community of St. Louis and Cherokee Street, which we service not just through our retail selection but also through our events. This is a dedication that we take very seriously, whether it is our in-practice attempt to make the outdoor industry more accepting and friendly toward racial/ethnic/gender minorities, or via our support of local and national organizations that work to bring outdoor enjoyment to city kids (more on that soon), or simply breaking the status quo by being an outdoor shop in an urban area. All of that said, what we do is just one part of the puzzle- you are the other. When we host events, we really need you to participate. We recognize that cost is an issue for some, and this is why our events range in price (though all are truly excellent values) and why we offer lots of free events as well.

So please, when you see something that interests you on our event calendar, don't forget to sign-up and/or show up. Your attendance ensures that our events remain vibrant and relevant to our commitment to community.
